Arrogate was an outstanding American Thoroughbred racehorse who achieved remarkable success in a relatively short career. Foaled in 2013, he was bred by Clearsky Farms and owned by Juddmonte Farms.

Arrogate’s rise to prominence was meteoric. While he didn’t race as a two-year-old, he made a significant impact as a three-year-old in 2016. His breakout performance came in the Travers Stakes, where he set a track record and won by 13 1/2 lengths. This victory was followed by a win in the Breeders’ Cup Classic, defeating the highly regarded California Chrome. Arrogate’s four-year-old season in 2017 was even more impressive. He won the inaugural Pegasus World Cup with a dominant performance, setting a new track record. He then traveled to Dubai, where he won the Dubai World Cup in spectacular fashion after a poor start, showcasing his incredible talent and determination. These victories made Arrogate the highest-earning North American racehorse of all time, with career earnings of $17,422,600. Despite his relatively short career of just 11 starts, Arrogate was named the World’s Best Racehorse in 2016 and 2017. His performances in major races were characterized by devastating speed and the ability to overcome adversity, earning him a reputation as one of the most talented racehorses of his generation.
