How to order? What payment methods can I use?

What paper is used for the prints?

We use the highest quality matt German Archival Fine Art Paper of weight 308 GSM. The paper has a fine texture and has to be handled carefully to avoid scratching.

The paper’s surface has minimal texture with a smooth cotton feel which creates smooth gradients. It has a delicate surface, so we recommend extra care when handling. The paper is suitable for mounting but its cotton texture means edges can fray if not carefully handled.

We recommend framing the prints behind glass to preserve them.

Can I order Larger/Smaller sized prints?

Yes, this is possible. You can contact us with your specific requirement and we will let you know the process and feasability/options for the custom sized prints.

Original Art

How is the Art shipped?

As graphite sketches require special handling, we take utmost care in packaging and shipping the original art pieces.

  1. The original art is placed in an envelope having a non-stick smooth butter paper on one side to protect the graphite art.
  2. The envelope is rolled carefully and placed in a corrugated cardboard shipping tube and capped.
  3. Finally, The shipping tube is packed in a box for further protection.
How to Unpack / Take care of the Art ?

Graphite art medium requires extra care to avoid smudging or transfering. The following are some general instructions on how to care for your artwork.

  • Gently remove the protective envelope containing your artwork from the box tube and place it on a flat surface.
  • Remove the tape holding the rolled envelope to open it.
  • Open the envelope and allow it to flatten out (you can keep it face down over a flat surface and if required, place a flat object like a book to hold it in place). Be careful to not drag the envelope.
  • You can gently remove the artwork by holding the edges from the envelope once it has flattened out. Try to not touch the artwork by hand over the graphite sketched areas and hold it at the empty areas(white spaces).
  • Frame the artwork behind glass as soon as possible to preserve it. Use UV blocking glass frame if you wish to display your artwork at a place with lot of sunlight. It is recommended to use border matting to prevent the graphite from coming in contact with the glass.
